In the book, Finding Perfect, by Elly Swartz, Molly isn’t just a normal kid. Every day she has to count in her head, be organized, and always go to an even number. She also believes if she doesn’t, something horrible will happen to her little brother, Ian. When her mom has to leave for a year, and Molly starts fighting with her best friend, and things just get worse. She also tries to hide her real self by lying a lot. She has to stop, but she can’t. When she sees a website for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and she has to convince herself she doesn’t have it. Even though she doesn’t believe it, does she really have OCD?
